The Farm

Located in Winterville, only 12 miles from UGA and 6 miles from east Athens, this beautiful farm offers a secluded and secure setting that has a covered arena, a large outdoor arena, over 4 miles of trails, schooling jumps, small paddocks for custom turn-out and large pasture areas. Hawkes Creek Farm is one of the nicest horse facilities in the Athens area.

The farm itself is bordered by Hawks Creek on the west, Hargove Lake Road on the south, farm land on the east and approximately 500 acres of wooded area on the north. The rolling terrain created by the descent to the creek makes for unique vistas and settings. About 100 acres are hardwood trees, 60 acres in pasture, a 10 acre pecan grove and the remainder yard and structure areas. A portion of the hardwood area is a natural habitat wetland and will be permanently preserved.
