The apartment at Hawkes Creek Farm is located on top of the main barn.
It has a 36 foot wide screened porch with 3 french doors that open up and overlook the main horse paddocks.
The vaulted living, dining, kitchen is one large great room.
There is a large master bedroom with a walk in closet and full bath. There is also an additional bedroom and an additional full bath accessible from the hallway.
The apartment is all electric with central heat and air. Water and internet access is included. Satellite and land lines are available with a shared incoming land line with the barn that has no outgoing calls at no cost. The apartment has a washer and dryer hookup and there is also currently a washer and dryer in the apartment! If you have pets we will discuss! It is a great place to have a dog though. The barn is about 1/2 mile off of the road and the owners live nearby.
It is 14 miles from downtown but it is a quick drive once you figure out the best way to get here. Horse knowledge is a plus. There are spots for great gardening and access to some really expensive to produce compost for free. If you want to work there seems like there is always some grass mowing, weed eating, fence building, hay loading, or/and general maintenance to be done that can help offset some rent. There is no smoking within 1/2 mile of the barn.
Rent is $750 plus a $600 deposit with a minimum one year lease.
