From Atlanta, take 85-N through the city to Georgia 316 (University Parkway) to Georgia 10 Loop (Athens Perimeter | Paul Broun Parkway). Before the Home Depot sign turn right onto SR 10 Loop going East. Take Exit 8 for U.S. 78 W/U.S. 78 E/Georgia 10/Oconee St/Lexington Rd. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Lexington/Washington and merge onto US-78 E/Lexington Rd. Travel approximately three miles and then take a left onto Cherokee Road (just past Walgreens). In two miles, take a right onto Beaverdam Road. Take another right onto Robert Hardeman Road and an immediate left back onto Beaverdam Road. Turn right onto Arnoldsville Road and an immediate left onto Hargrove Lake Road. Travel four miles down Hargrove Lake until you come to the Hawkes Creek Farm sign right after the driveway on the left side of the road.
To get to the barn, follow the paved driveway straight ahead and it turns to gravel. Follow this past the first barn and the arena and turn left to the horse barn.
